Putting his musical talents on full display, a recording of Robert Pattinson performing a ballad during a live gig last year has just been released on the web.
The "Water for Elephants" star delivered the performance at Songs for a Room in London - with the gathering described as "a movement that brings music lovers together in a low key setting."
While introducing himself onstage, Pattinson abashedly said, ?I don?t know what to say, I haven?t played in a long time." He continued to say that he very well may "f**k it up."

We've reached that time of year when TV shows are wrapping up. Season finales of American Idol and Dancing with the Stars are crowning winners. Scripted shows are tying up loose ends, or leaving some storylines hanging off cliffs till the fall. And, networks are discarding low-rated shows to make room for promising new ones.
So what's out, and what's in? Fans of NBC's Chuck will be delighted to hear that their bumbling spy has held on for another season. ABC's Brothers & Sisters (pictured), however, won't be returning -- despite rumors that they might be granted a shorter season instead of cancellation. Neither will NBC's Outsourced (which failed to attract viewers despite its choice time slot in the network's Thursday night comedy block) or The CW's Smallville (whose small cult following is no doubt devastated by the news). Some of these series will be missed, to be sure. But in the world of network TV, it's out with the old, in with the new! Here's what's on deck:
NBC:
NBC is premiering six new shows in the fall, with six more new ones coming midseason. It's launching two sitcoms on Wednesday night: Up All Night (8 p.m. ET), which stars Christina Applegate and Will Arnett (pictured) as new parents, and Free Agents (8:30 p.m. ET), which stars Hank Azaria as a recent divorced guy who finds love at the office.
The network's prized, post-Office time slot is going to the relationship comedy, Whitney (Thursdays, 9:30 p.m. ET), starring comedian Whitney Cummings. And apparently NBC decided to scratch its three-hour comedy block, because after Whitney, it is debuting a crime drama, Prime Suspect, starring Maria Bello.
NBC's other new crime drama comes with a fantastical twist. Grimm, which will air on Fridays at 9 p.m. ET, focuses on a detective whose beat includes characters from Grimm's fairy tales. Click here to see video previews of NBC's new shows.
FOX:
Fox's biggest new show is, of course, Simon Cowell's new and uber-publicized The X Factor (Wednesdays, 8 p.m. ET). But that network's also making news with Steven Spielberg's sci-fi drama Terra Nova (Mondays, 8 p.m. ET), which is set in prehistoric times. Two comedies that also sound promising are New Girl (Tuesdays, 9 p.m. ET), starring Zooey Deschanel and I Hate My Teenage Daughter (Wednesdays, 9:30 p.m. ET), starring Jaime Pressly and Katie Finneran. ABC:
ABC will release its fall schedule on Tuesday, but we already know that the network has gone on a new-show buying spree. Among its most notable acquisitions are a Charlie's Angels reboot; a comedic drama, Good Christian Belles, from the executive producer of Sex and the City; and a new drama from Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes called Scandal. CBS will debut its fall schedule on Wednesday. Lost fans are eagerly awaiting crime drama Person of Interest, which stars Michael Emerson (a.k.a. The island's Benjamin Linus). Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey were basking in the glow of becoming new parents to their twins Moroccan and Monroe, when the couple was approached by Child Protective Services while still in the hospital!
"Child Protective Services actually came to me while I was in the hallway and said that they were here to see me because there had been allegations that there was drug and alcohol use during the stay in the hospital," Cannon, 30, told CNN's Piers Morgan on Thursday. "I was like, 'Well, how would that even be possible? How could the hospital even allow that?'"
Well, it seems that it was just a big misunderstanding that led the government agency to the new parents, who arrived home safe with their babies on May 14.
"It all started when a nurse suggested to my wife that if you drink Guinness, the dark beer, the yeast improves breastfeeding," Cannon explained. "I don't know if someone heard that, but then they were saying my wife was drinking beer. People will do anything to try to conjure up a story."
"When I spoke to the person from Child Protection Services, they said, 'This is ridiculous, we're going to make sure this isn't the case,'" Cannon said. "To even have to deal with that, with my wife in the state that she's in while we're in the hospital, to even have to think about someone possibly wanting to investigate your children...it's sad at the end of the day."
"It's really sad when you think about people trying to make a buck off newborn babies," he added.
Mariah and the babies, who were born on April 30, left the hospital on Saturday -- and all three are happy and healthy at home.
"Yes, I am on a tweet spree but its cause I'm finally HOME! w/ #dembabies+NC (also demdogs!lol)" the singer twittered on May 14.
Later that day, the new mom shared another update. "#dembabies aka Roc+Roe are sleeping peacefully," she wrote. "I just finished singing 2 them(softly!) Feeling so blessed. LYM : )x0x0"
Country superstar turned reality TV judge Blake Shelton is now officially hitched to Miranda Lambert. So far pictures of their wedding have been hard to find, but the story is all over the web. I have to admit, I didn?t really know much about Shelton until he became a judge on one of my new favorite shows The Voice. Even though I?m not a huge fan of his personality, I can understand where he is coming from. A few episodes back, a singer tried to do a Miranda Lambert song, and Blake mentioned that the song meant a lot to him, which made it hard for him to praise the amateur singer. He earned some points in my eyes after that. Aside from the show, he is now finding himself in the news for his big wedding. Finally, Heidi Montag has realized that she's had enough plastic surgery for one lifetime. The 24-year-old reality starlet tells Us Weekly that she's not planning to add to her 12-plus cosmetic surgery procedures anytime soon.
"Obviously when I get a little older, I'll take it from there," Montag says, "but for this moment, I don't want anything to do with plastic surgery!" Does that really mean she won't be adding to the very long list of procedures -- including a breast augmentation, nose job, chin job, eyebrow lift, cheekbone job (yes, there's such a thing) and fat injections -- that she's already received? "Definitely," Montag insists. "For now."
That's not the only change that Montag is making in her life. After years of her television life being inseparable from her real life -- specifically her on-again-off-again relationship with husband Spencer Pratt -- the former Hills star says she's working on keeping some things out of the spotlight.
"From now on, I'm going to keep my life a little more private," Montag tells People. "I think I was just doing The Hills for so long and I just needed a break (from Hollywood). Plus, I enjoy my privacy."

Meredith Vieira, who recently announced she would leave her co-anchor perch on the Today show in June, can now add filmmaker to her impressive list of credentials. Return, the first feature film produced by Vieira's production company, Meredith Vieira Productions, premieres at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in the French Riviera on Saturday.
The mother of three recently spoke with iVillage about the film, and said she feels like she is having another baby -- only for this delivery there’s nothing for the pain. "They don't give you an epidural for this one," she joked.
Return is the fictional account of a female soldier’s return from a tour of duty. "We certainly believe in it and that’s what matters," Vieira told iVillage’s Chief Correspondent Kelly Wallace when asked if she was nervous about how the film would ultimately be received. "But yeah, it is your child, it’s everybody’s child. It really did take a village to create Return."
The film stars Linda Cardellini of ER fame, Mad Men’s John Slattery and Michael Shannon (HBO's Boardwalk Empire and the film Revolutionary Road).

The Obama grandmother threat was issued by an Al Qaeda linked group called Al Shabaab, causing officials to provide her with additional security. The woman in question is actually his step-grandmother Sarah Obama, who lives in Kenya. Reports state that the need for security had already been re-evaluated following Bin Laden?s death, but that Kenyan officials will provide even more. Most observers note that such threats are just a matter of rhetoric and don?t usually amount to anything. Mariah Carey has taken the stage to standing ovations on more than one occasion - and the new mom wanted nothing less when it came to welcoming twins Moroccan Scott and Monroe into the world.
Hollywood's newest bad boy, Alex Pettyfer, hasn't been shy about showing off his toned physique in such recent movies as Beastly and I Am Number Four. That's a good thing, since he's just signed on to star as a male stripper opposite Channing Tatum (also playing a stripper!) in director Steven Soderbergh's Magic Mike.
Fascinatingly enough, the film is based on the real-life experiences of a young Tatum, who has admitted that -- before he hit it big with movies like Step Up and G.I. Joe -- he paid the rent by stripping when he was 18. When Ellen Degeneres asked about his clothes-shedding past in an interview last year, Tatum replied, "Look, I'm not proud of it, but I'm not ashamed of it."
According to Deadline, 21-year-old Pettyfer will play the young Tatum role; 31-year-old Tatum (who is also producing) will play the title character "Mike," who acts as a mentor to the younger stripper.
Though this sounds a bit like a male version of Burlesque, Soderbergh has said that he is using Saturday Night Fever, the 1977 hit starring John Travolta, as a model for exploring the world of male strippers. And the excited buzz has already started at the prospect of seeing these two handsome, hard-bodied actors... strip buck naked.

Heather Mills was reportedly training for the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games, when she had a bit of bad luck on the ski slopes this week. According to the Associated Press, Paul McCartney's ex-wife fractured her right shoulder blade.
Mills, 43, was practicing slalom on the Moelltal Glacier when she took a tumble. She was flown by helicopter to a nearby hospital in Lienz, according to local Austrian newspaper.
Hospital spokesman Alfred Fast told the paper that "no surgery was necessary." The former model was selected for the ski team last year, and she has been in training for 2014 games in Russia. Mills was released from the medical facility Thursday morning and is expected to make a full recovery.
